Jordan asks Naomi to organize a launch party for the hot new anonymous writer, known as Author X, which forces Annie to reveal that she is Author X. Silver worries that Adrianna is not comfortable with her dating Mark. Meanwhile, Dixon admits his true feelings to Michaela, ony to learn that she is interested in Navid.

Naomi decides to re-open the Offshore with her half-brother Mark, serving as the restaurant's chef. Dixon books Michaela to perform at the Offshore's opening, which comes as a surprise to Silver. Annie feels confused when her old feelings for Liam return, and Navid agrees to escort Campbell's fiancé to an event but then discovers that Campbell is cheating on her.

Naomi and Max co-host a charity football game, which brings back some old feelings between them. Navid encourages Liam's new underground fighting hobby, and Adrianna intentionally sabotages a performance, hoping that Dixon will let her out of her contract. Annie's blog gets the attention of a publisher.

Jane gets to be on national television with her idol Lawrence Brand. Jane's slap to Nancy Grace suddenly goes viral after she gets a black eye. Stacy's restaurant may be in jeopardy after she meets someone who claims to be that the patent to owner to the pake.

The crew heads out to LA to work on a film called "Bone of Contention" which is based on Brennan's most recent book; when Brennan finds out that the film lacks authenticity she intervenes to bring it up to snuff; but when a prop body turns out to be an actual murder victim the team must stop working on the film and work the case instead; Booth is also offered a job.

Corinne's mental condition is making it close to impossible for Sam to take care of her. Amelia has news that will alter her life in a substantial way. Addison and Jake continue their playful exchanges. Cooper refuses any ideas to seek outside help for Erica's care.
