    • Ashley: (on the movie Jaws) Watching Jaws just scared the living daylights out of me when I was young. I know a lot of people my age who are still petrified of sharks because of that film.

    • Ashley: (on comic books) Not being a comic book fan, being thrown into that and seeing the extreme - it's taken very seriously. So I tried to do as much learning as I could about it so I wasn't mean or anything.

    • Ashley: (on walking to relax) I started walking at night with my sister in law which has been amazing. It really does something for you. It just kind of clears the mind, it just makes you feel better, things start to tighten a little bit.

    • Ashley: (on being dyslexic) I was very active but I was dyslexic and had a really hard time at school.

    • Ashley: (on scuba diving for the movie Into The Blue) I was training more learning how to scuba dive which I'd never done which was really, really, really cool.

    • Ashley: (on her husband not having tattoos) What's funny is my husband doesn't have any tattoos at all, so he must be the very conservative one.

    • Ashley: (on her hair length) Like when I had long hair, you kind of got male attention from everything. But when you had short hair, it was a different kind of man that was attracted to you or I found coming up.

    • Ashley: I have my own great relationship with God. I may not be at the end of my bed praying every night, but he hears from me at least five, six, times a day. I might be hollerin' at him, but I'm still talking to him. God's got a great sense of humor.

    • Ashley: (on preparing for the TV Series Birds of Prey and reading comic books) I did my research for Birds of Prey. I wasn't into comic books. My brother wasn't into them and so it was just never around. Dungeons & Dragons is the closest I got to stuff like that.

    • Ashley: I loved watching The Hulk. But people asked me what my favorite comics were and I was just like "The Incredible Hulk?" He's bad ass and he scared me.

    • Ashley: (onher dyslexia) It was really difficult and frustrating back when I was really young in school. We finally figured out what it was when I was in third grade, probably like 8-years old, which was relieving, because when you are young and you have troubles like that early, people think you are stupid. Over time I had just learned little tricks. For some reason when I write in cursive, it's easier and flows better for me to read that when I print. I'll try to get a script a week early if possible so that I can get a head start. With this you just learn ways to do things that work best for your mind. I'm trying to create awareness and it's nice to be a voice for others.
