When I first saw the wedding episode of How I Met Your Mother, I fell in love with Ashley's character, Victoria. She was beautiful, intelligent, fun, sweet, witty, could light up the room with her smile, and was just a natural beauty. I showed my best friend the episode and said "if I ever meet a girl around here like her, I'd be stupid not to marry her." The following year, I see a girl whose smile and face remind me exactly of Victoria. She's a nursing student with 2 jobs so time isn't something she has, but I'm being patient with her because I may just be telling my kids this story one day like Ted of 2030 does on the show. Can't wait for her to see the episode too.
She truly makes you realize what television could have been all these years. The games shows, the reality shows, Paris, Britney, eHype all wiped away and forgiven with one smile. Television should have been about people, real people. And she is one of the more beautiful examples of what it could have been.
I'm going to write this before Williams' appearances on "How I Met Your Mother" as the character of Victoria because I'm very excited about her addition to the show. If you never saw her in "Good Morning, Miami", you missed out. A sunny disposition and a natural beauty that just makes you smile. As "Dylan", she was able to interact with each character with a natural chemistry that worked each week. If it wasn't for subpar writing and a questionable choice for a male lead, I believe "GMM" would have lasted longer and given Williams' a lot more acting opportunities. Now she has a chance to add to an already strong cast on "How I Met Your Mother". Is the character of Victoria the "mother" we've been waiting for? If so, "HIMYM" should get ready for a long run. I'm excited.
actress all her life - bachelor of fine arts - studied Shakespeare - appears at many celebrity charity fund-raisers - has many fans (have a look at http://www.williams-ashley.com/ )
Ashley Williams has been an actress all her life. She was born on the 12th November 1978 and she got her first role on Television when she was 14. Ashley grew up in Westchester County, New York. She likes doing yoga, running and hiking. Ashley has been writing diaries since she was little (and has so far filled up 37 of them!). Her father is a freelance medical journalist and her mother is a fundraiser for the "Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Disease Research Foundation". Ashley is the sister of actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley and the Southern California fire-fighter Jay. Soon young Ashley got her first small role in the movie Indian Summer. She attended the Rye High School in Rye, New York. After living in New York, Boston and London, young Ashley Williams moved to Los Angeles during the recent television pilot season. The morning she auditioned for Good Morning Miami was also the second time 23-year-old Williams had ever parallel-parked. In L.A., the driving was harder than the auditions! says the New York native who had previously mastered public transportation in Boston, London, and New York City. Now safely parked in her role as hair stylist Dylan Messinger on Good Morning Miami, the recent bachelor of fine arts graduate of Boston University’s theatre conservatory looks forward to charting new roads in the world of prime-time television. After college, she studied in London for a year at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art as well as at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where she also studied Shakespeare. Since then she appeared in many shows, series and movies. Ashley appears at many celebrity charity fund-raisers (especially for AIDS). (
