Audra McDonald is one of the all time GREATS!!! She is an amazing performer on stage and on the small screen. Audra has won four tony awards, three of which she recieved before the age of 30!! How many women have done that? Audra McDonald is a POWERHOUSE! hide show

Audra McDonald plays Naomi Bennett on ABC's Private Practice and to me is the best actor on the show! I know that is difficult for many of you all to believe but she is Amazing! I love what she brings to the character ,which is a sense of reality and who Audra is as well as a feeling of " I can relate to that." Naomi is a character that reflects a lot of people and Audra does a wonderful job in keeping us interested in what is next to come for her character. I love the story line of Naomi and Sam. Now is the 2nd season we are seeing more with them and the drama that occurs when they are together and when they go at it and it keeps the practice on edge as well as the viewers. Because these two dynamic characters create a tone that is set for the practice we see that if Naomi and Sam are having a good day everyone is usually having a good day, within the practice. But if they are having a down day the whole practice suffers. So again give Naomi a chance because she does more than you think.///
