Who ever says fibbing doesn't pay, hasn't met up with Ayda Field yet! Once upon a time, Field, a Los Angeles native, was returning home after graduating from Duke University when she landed an audition to play an Italian woman on Days of Our Lives. In order to get the job, Field told the producers she had just arrived in America from Italy and came up with an entire back story to get the role, which she held for the entire season. She kept up the ruse for the first year on the show, and even used an Italian accent on the recording on her home answering machine. Making matters even more… More confusing, at the same time, she was cast in an episode of Arli$$ as a French woman. For this role, she changed her cell phone voice mail to a French accent. Her next role was as a Russian mail order bride in an NBC pilot. She has also appeared in Spy TV, The WB's Rescue 77 and Men, Women and Dogs. Recently, Field was the lead in the pilot Me, Me, Me, with Tori Spelling, and appeared in the pilot Dana and Julia for The WB. She also appeared in the pilot for Platonically Incorrect last season and in Foothooker, from producer Steve Levitan.
Now, on Blue Collar TV, Field will be able to try out her various American regional accents as she will play an array of characters.

Field, an avid runner and tennis player, has completed a marathon in the impressive time of 3 hours, 33 minutes. She lives in Los Angeles with her golden retriever and three cats.

    She needs to be seen hide show

    Ayda Field. A little while ago this was a no name for me. I had never ever heard of her but when I watched the second episode of Studio 60: On The Sunset Strip i fell in love with this gorgeous and funny woman with the light brown hair. I had to find out who she was. And from that day on she bewitches me every week on Studio 60 with the little screen time she grets as a cast member of the show within the show. That she had a little more screen time in this weeks episode (The Wrap party) gives me hope. And I also hope that Studio 60 will open the doors for this amazing actress who makes me smile everytime she walks on the screen.
