Barry Watson: (on his battle against cancer) I'm a real stubborn person. So nobody is going to tell me I'm going anywhere until I'm ready. So when I found out I had it, I was like, 'Alright, what do we need to do.' I said, 'I'm going to be fine. I know I am.
Barry Watson: (after learning about her fiancee's first pregnancy) Looking at those pregnancy tests... we kept going back to the store and getting more. It was probably the best moment of my life.
Barry Watson: (after undergoing chemotherapy) My hair started to thin, but it wasn't until someone came up and said, 'You look like the crypt keeper' that I was like,' I've gotta shave my head.'
Barry Watson: I think every actor should try to dip in to every aspect of the business in some way because I think it's really made me a better actor you know, knowing every single process of how everything gets done... and I want to try to do everything.
Barry Watson: You know when I first started off, before I was like a series regular starring or doing any movies or anything like that, I was always guest starring as like, the bad guy. Forever. But nobody will ever remember that because people only know me for playing like, you know, these nice guys.
Barry Watson: (on advice he would give to his sons about love) I want them to see their mom and me together and think it's a good relationship. And I want them to see that you have to keep things spontaneous and alive.
Barry Watson: I enjoy playing the fun single guy and then I get to go home and be dad to my boys.
Barry Watson: Darkness always scared me, my Mom never believed in night lights or anything so I was always freaked out there might be things under the bed right now and I'm going to sit as still as I can because if I do that they will go away.
Barry Watson: (asked to complete the sentence, "Red roses are..."; in an interview when he and Tracy were still engaged) Typical! Guys do it because they think it's expected. That's BS. Find out what she likes; for example, Tracy loves sweet peas. You have to show a little thought!
Barry Watson: (on playing any character) I'm not somebody who counts their lines each script and has to be the center of attention constantly.
Barry Watson: Helen Mirren is like the sexiest woman on the planet to me. She is. Just the way she goes about everything - she's just sexy as all hell. Taylor Hackford [Mirren's husband] is a very lucky man. That's all I can say.
