Ben Vereen performs with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra for 2 nights hide show

I saw the second of two Shows that Ben Vereen did with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra - tonight, March 14, 2009. With only a short intermission, Mr. Vereen was on stage performing for almost 2 1/2 hours without stop and only an occassional sip of water. He was energetic, he was "moving" and he had the audience involved. He was graceous enough to acknowlegde the presence in the front row of the widow of the great Nat King Cole. He put on a great show and the audience ate it up. He fishied up by telling us what a fantastic symphony we had and how we should not lose them like other cities has done. He put on a first class act, he is a first class gentleman and I was so entertained that I did not want the evening to end.
