As multifaceted as she is multi-lingual, Beth Payne is renowned as the talent with many voices. The Midwest native has honed her gifts globally; from her early days as a speech and debate champion at the University of Denver, to international studies at the University of Saga (Saga, Japan). Beth brings a unique presence to the industry with her many skills which include Actress, Comic, Writer, Voiceover Pro, and Chef. Beth's onscreen popularity continues to grow. She gained a major following on the first season of BET's gospel reality competition "Sunday Best". This show featured Beth as backstage correspondent providing one-on-one interviews with contestants. Beth's energy and natural motivation skills became a highlight of the show as she captured the emotions of and delivered encouragement to the hopefuls. She provides the voices for six different characters on the popular, #1 animated series PBS series "Maya and Miguel"; five different voices to the highly anticipated "Youngins" series, as well as three different voices for the "The Friday After Next Animation Series". Her renowned voice has been featured on a variety of commercials and shows throughout the years. As a Linguist she speaks six languages, (as well as sign language) and is a Speech Coach, having worked with notable entertainers on their dialects/languages for music or acting roles. With her thought provoking writing appearing in numerous publications over the years, Beth is currently developing several books projects as well. She is a highly sought after commentator; possessing a variety of literary skills. As a Comedienne, Beth has taken her skills around the world, such as with the Scandinavian Comedy Tour, (Finland, Denmark,& Sweden). Highlights include: Tour with Charlie Murphy in Improv Comedy clubs across the US. Performed as the headlining comic for The Praise Party (The Great Western Forum in Los Angeles). Opened for Michael Bolton in the Turks and Caicos. Worked with the Fly Jock Tom Joyner as on Air Radio Personality. Opened for Baby Face on the Fantastic Voyage Cruise. Performed in major comedy houses across the country working stages with such celebrated talents as: Mark Curry, Tommy Davidson, Damon Wayans, David Allen Grier, Rodney Dangerfield, Maz Jabroni, Dane Cook, Kat Williams, Loni Love, Chris Spencer, Chelsea Handler, Jonathan Slocumb, Tiffany Haddish, The View's Sherry Shepherd and more. Beth has generously contributed her passion for motivating and inspiring others into various charitable acts such as keynote speaker for churches, seminars, battered women shelters, health symposiums, schools and college campuses across the country. Most notable is Beth's devotion to the betterment of youth and utilizing her talents to implement programs for children that focus on building their self-esteem. Such projects include working with public schools such as Washington Middle School, KIPP & LEAD as well as mentoring children in foster care programs like Urlich Foundation, and the Los Angeles County Foster Care Program. Beth has also worked with The Smokey Robinson Foundation.
