When she was about four years old, Beverley went shopping with her mother and threw a loud tantrum right in the middle of the mall. A talent scout came up to them and mentioned that Beverley might have a future as an actress. He even handed his business card to her mother right on the spot. Beverley went on, of course, to get her big break as the emotional, tantrum-throwing teenager Lucy Camden on 7th Heaven.

Beverley married accountant Michael Cameron on October 1, 2008, when they were both 27 years old. Their wedding took place in Italy, and Beverley had eight bridesmaids, including her 7th Heaven sisters Jessica Biel and Mackenzie Rosman. 100 guests attended the ceremony, including Biel's celebrity boyfriend Justin Timberlake.
