Zoe tricks Jonah into revealing a secret about Brick's health, then accidentally interferes with Brick's love life. Zoe takes some advice from Brick and decides she needs to finally share her true feelings to George, but she realizes that her timing is less than ideal. Wade and Lemon struggle to work together at the Rammer Jammer, and things awry as both try to prove that they know what is best for bar. Knowing what Wade and Lemon are up to, Lavon and AnnaBeth agree to stay out of the situation, but both end up in the middle of the argument. Tansy’s brothers drop in for a surprise visit, and Tansy asks George to look after them and control their wild antics.

Brick finds a not so lucky four-leaf clover. Frankie decides it's time to find some help for Aunt Edie. Axl does it again, he accidentally asks the wrong Ashley to the prom but, even worse, Darrin asks Sue to the prom. Big Mike thinks Mike's too soft on Brick which doesn't set well with Mike.

Max, a hard working waitress, finds herself helping out Caroline, a new waitress at the diner, who was once a wealthy socialite, but has been left with nothing after her father's arrested. Max invites Caroline to be her roommate, but their new friendship is put in jeopardy when Max's boyfriend hits on Caroline.
