Forums: Bindi Sue Irwin Board: Terri and Bindi Irwin at the National Press Club

Terri and Bindi spoke at a National Press Club luncheon last Friday (Jan. 19). They reflected on the life of Steve Irwin and the future plans for Australia Zoo. The event was broadcast live on C-SPAN 2 in the U.S. and repeated during the overnight hours. Both broadcasts were also streamed live on the C-SPAN website.

Though the archived video is only available as a quite expensive purchase, I have posted a few brief excerpts on my blog. I attended the luncheon in person and shot several 30-sec. clips with my digital camera. The picture quality isn't that great because I don't have a telephoto lens but the audio quality is decent.

The first part of my recap focused on the preliminary talks. The next part of the recap on my blog will focus on the question and answer session, which was much more humorous. I have several more video clips that I'll post.
