- Bob was All World at St. Mary Magdalene grade school in Willowick, Ohio. He then continued his career at St. Joseph's high school in Euclid, Ohio where he excelled in both football and wrestling. He and another former Browns star, Tom Cousineau had some epic wrestling matchups when both were in high school at the same time. Tom starred at St. Edwards, the perennial wrestling powerhouse in Ohio.
