Nicknamed "Mr. Baseball" by Johnny Carson, Bob Uecker is a former player, announcer and actor. Outside of baseball Uecker is known for his appearances on Mr. Belvedere and at Wrestlemania.

    • Bob's 50th year with Major League Baseball was in 1995. As a tribute to Bob, the Brewers placed a number 50 in his honor in their "Ring of Honor", near the retired numbers of Robin Yount and Paul Molitor.

    • In the mid-1990s, Bob appeared in a series of television commercials for the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

    • The "Uecker Seats" at Miller Park represent a humorous honor given to Bob by the Milwaukee Brewers. The seats cost $1 because they are located behind support beams.

    • Bob is well known to television viewers for his multiple appearances in Miller Lite Beer commercials in the 1980s and early 1990s.
