Bono

Bono was born Paul David Hewson on May 10, 1960 in Dublin, Ireland. At age 14, his mother died due to brain haemorrhage. On August 21, 1982, Bono married Ali Stewart, they have 4 children: Jordan (born May 10, 1989), Memphis Eve (born 7 July 1991), Elijah Bob Patricius Guggi Q (born 18 August 1999) and John Abraham(born 21 May 2001). His trademark is his goggle-like sunglasses. Bono and his first daughter and child, Jordan had the same birthday, she was born on Bono's 29th birthday. Bono's parents were Iris and Robert Hewson. On August 21, 2001, his father died due to cancer, Robert died on Bono and Ali's 19 anniversary. I love to hear Bono sing, and I hope to continue to hear him.

I think that Bono is one of the best singers ever, and also one of the best "humanity worry about" people. He tries to help and makes a lot of campagins, against poverty, VIH, and so much other things, and he is the leader of one of my favorite bands ever! U2! He is simply awesome and basically all what he does is always awesome.

Bono has a very distinctive voice and writes fantastic songs. It is hard to choose a favourite as there are so many strong songs. My favourite album is probably How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb. An all round talented musician. Has to be seen live. He says he wouldn't be part of a crap band and he most definitely isn't. All his band mates are fantastic musicians. His activism is relentless and he does 2 or 3 full time jobs. This man is incredibly influencial and persuasive and has opened doors that many haven't been able to. He has a completely unique character and is definitely a one off.

The guy is just a normal guy. Although he is in probably the world's most popular rock and roll band. The thing I like about Bono more then his singing voice is the fact that he tries to help humanity. The thing I respect about Bono is that he never quits and keeps fighting in something he believes in. I actually became interested in Africa thanks to Bono and Bob Geldof, and not only is he a great activist but he is also an amazing singer. He is probably one of the greatest rock and roll vocalists of all time. Plus his band rocks! Bono rules!!!!

I am not going to rant and rave about how physically appealing Bono is (starting from his early days in U2), because he has shown that there is so much more to him than a handsome face. I am so in awe of what he is doing for people in less fortunate circumstances than he is. I find his giving ways to be so appealing, so impressive. He's a 10. What more can I say?
