    • Boy George: I don't think of myself as a gay pop star. There are gay pop stars who are totally obsessed with being gay, but I've never been one of those. I love straight people; it takes two of them to make one of us! I've never had that kind of separatist attitude about "gay" and "straight".
    • Boy George: (revealing he has written two songs for Kylie Minogue - one about Olivier Martinez) I don't know that she will do the one about her and Olivier because I wrote it before they split up, about all the stuff written about them in the papers. There is another one about survival about what she has gone through, and she has vocaled that.
    • Boy George: Separation penetrates the disappearing person like a pigment and steeps him in gentle radiance.
