    • Brad: (revealing his film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button saved his & Angelina Jolie's relationship) Angelina and I do not fight anymore. What occurred to me on this film, and also with the passing of Angelina's mother Marcheline Bertrand last year, is that there's going to come a time when I'm not going to get to be with this person anymore. I'm not going to get to be with my children anymore. And so, if we have a flare-up, it evaporates now. I don't want to waste time being angry at someone I love.
    • Brad: (after sporting a moustache for the film Inglourious Basterds) My goal is to bring moustaches back - I don't think they are respected enough. In my new film it's political, it's a political statement.
    • Brad: (about his children with Angelina Jolie) We're pretty much building our own soccer team. We're going to create our own country, go to the World Cup, and dominate!
    • Brad: (revealing in 2007 that he remains friends with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston) Jen and I still maintain a deep friendship and have a lot of life together that isn't erased in any way. I don't know how better to have handled it. My view was, this is no one's business in the end - at least in matters of the heart. So you need to protect all involved as much as possible. I don't know if that cooled things off or exacerbated them, but it was a thing I felt justly about at the time. Again, the thing guiding me then was you don't know how many days you have and you need life to be everything you want it to be.
    • Brad: (on ageing) I liked turning 40. Maybe I had a crisis earlier or something. Maybe I had it in my 30s. One thing that sucks though is that your face kind of goes, and your body's not quite working the same. But you earned it. You earned that, things falling apart!
    • Brad: (after reports of racism against their security team in India) As individuals we respect all religions and human beings. We are committed to tolerance and human value… it is unthinkable that anyone would have uttered the things that are being attributed to them. If any misunderstanding has been caused, we apologize for it.
    • Brad: (on adopted children, Maddox and Zahara) They're as much of my blood as any natural-born, and I'm theirs. That's all I can say about it. So, to anyone considering adoption, that's my vote.
    • Brad: I have a hard time with morals. All I know is what feels right, what's more important to me is being honest about who you are. Morals I get a little hung up on.
    • Brad: You shouldn't speak until you know what you're talking about. That's why I get uncomfortable with interviews. Reporters ask me what I feel China should do about Tibet. Who cares what I think China should do? They hand me a script. I'm a grown man who puts on makeup.
