Born in raised in Pennsylvania, Brian started acting at the age of 11 when he joined an organization called Cynekyd where kids wrote and filmed their own movies. There he distinguished himself as an actor and as a photographer. Brian starred in the Cynekyd film "Whiplash" in 1980.
After graduating from William Tennent High in 1985, Brian attended Penn State, where he earned a degree in marketing. He then went to Chicago to resume his acting career. He studied at Second City in Chicago, worked as a stand-up comic, and joined the Seanachai Theatre. He also waited tables at

In 1999, Sprint was looking for an unknown actor the play the Sprint PCS man. Brian auditioned and got the part. He was originally set to appear in only five adds, but has done nearly forty.
When he is not selling cellular service, Brian guest stars on series. He has recently appeared on the Drew Carey Show, Providence, VIP, The West Wing, and Early Edition.
On September 1, 2002, Brian married the actress Terry Farrell. The two met at a gym that February and were married in Las Vegas.
Brian is six foot one and is a former semi-pro football player. He also loves playing guitar.
