Brian Posehn

Brian was the voice of Crocco in Cartoon Network's first original feature film Re-animated which premiered December 8, 2006 and combines live action with animation.

Brian has a guest role as Stevie, the medical examiner for a two part episode of Comedy Central's hit police parody Reno 911!. In the first part, "Son of a Chechekevitch" he initially believes Sheriff Chechekevitch died from a poison delivered orally, but later upon further investigation, he concludes he instead died of a peanut allergy. In the second part of the episode, "The Investigation Continues", Stevie is arrested for being under the influence of medicinal marijuana.

Brian did the voice of Jim Kuback in the short lived WB animated series, Mission Hill. Brian achieved cult status for his role after the show was given renewed popularity thanks to being picked up by Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.

Brian wrote the song, "Ass-Kicking Fat Kid" with Scott Ian of the legendary metal band, Anthrax for the comedy, Run Ronnie Run.

Brian co-authored a comic book series for Image Comics called The Last Christmas, which features Santa delivering presents and killing mutants in a post-apocalyptic world.

Brian is a fan of classic horror films as well as the films Phantasm, Halloween, Chainsaw, Dawn of the Dead, Return of the Living Dead, Cat's Eye, and Grizzly.

Brian has had notable guest appearances in many sitcoms such as Seinfeld, Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, NewsRadio, The Bernie Mac Show, and Method & Red.

Brian plays Tank in the 2002 comedy, Run Ronnie Run.

Brian has an uncredited part as a man seated at Table #9 in the 1998 Adam Sandler comedy, The Wedding Singer.

Brian is 6'7".

Brian appears in the metal band Anthrax's music video, "What Doesn't Die".

Brian is a self-proclaimed nerd - he enjoys comic books and also dubs himself as a "metal nerd".

Brian is the voice of the character Brian in the Star Wars parody PC game Star Warped.

Brian plays Jimmy in Rob Zombie's 2005 horror film, The Devil's Rejects, the sequel to The House of 1000 Corpses.

Brian has a heavy metal band called POSEHN. The band's lineup is a who's who of the hard rock elite, featuring Scott Ian (Anthrax), Joey Vera (Armored Saint), John Tempesta (White Zombie, The Cult) and Brian himself on vocals.

Brian's comedy album, Brian Posehn - Live In: Nerd Rage, originally released independently, was picked up for redistribution by the extreme metal label Relapse Records. In addition to his stand up routines, the album also features two songs, one of them by his heavy metal band POSEHN.

His recurring character Kevin on Just Shoot Me was related to actor Ray Liotta, who guest starred as himself on the series.

Brian has most recently surfaced on The Showbiz Show with David Spade in a segment called The Nerd Perspective.

Brian had a brief appearance as "himself" alongside Sarah and Laura Silverman in 2005's Sarah Silverman: Jesus Is Magic.

Brian was the messenger who delivered the manuscript in which Joey's soap opera character "Dr. Drake Ramoray" is killed off on Friends.

Brian played a patient in the important Seinfeld episode, "The Burning", where Kramer was "given" gonorrhea.

Brian appeared in the 2003 movie, Grind as a customer at the store Chili 'n Such, the fast food restaurant that the main characters work at in the beginning of the movie.

Brian has a recurring role as the voice of Tom Peters' friend Gibbons the midget on Adult Swim's animated comedy, Tom Goes to the Mayor. Due to the animation style of the show which involves taking photos of the cast with different expressions, and then filtering them so they resemble mimeographs made of only blue and white, Gibbons' appearance is Brian's actual head placed on a midget's body.

Brian played the gas station attendant in the 2003 movie prequel, Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd.

Brian is a graduate of Sonoma Valley High School.
