Hey Everyone, let me tell you a little about myself. I was born and lived most of my 18 years in Lafayette, Colorado, which is just west of Denver.
I was very active in sports, until I reached the old age of 12. My family took a trip to Disney World in Florida. While we were visiting Universal, we were picked to be on FAMILY DOUBLE-DARE that was so much fun, and we won!
That was my first experience in front of the camera. It was shortly after that when I went for fun to a casting call in Denver for three different movies. One of the movies being cast was Milk Money. There were approximately 500 other kids there. The casting director put 30 kids on tape to send to the director – I was one of the 30. I didn't get the job, but that sure sparked my interest in acting.
I started taking acting classes and before I knew it, I was going out on auditions in Colorado. I was then accepted into the KIDSKITS performing group. We traveled around the city giving a variety show to schools etc. it was a lot of work. We had practices four times a week and a performance at least once a week. I learned a lot and really loved it. I was fortunate to do local commercials and was also cast in local theater.
Shortly after my 13th birthday, a talent agent from Chicago saw me and thought it would be a good idea that I go to New York City for the summer. So my mother and I spent six weeks in New York. I did a few commercials during this time and learned a great deal about the competitive world of acting.
The following spring the agent from Chicago sent me to Los Angeles for my first pilot season. I knew this would eventually be my home. I was very fortunate and landed a commercial right away, which enabled me to stay longer.
I then returned to Colorado to finish my high school education. Lucky for me, before I finished, my parents decided to move to Las Vegas. I was excited, because I was so much closer to LA. I went to high school in Las Vegas for only one semester. My parents then agreed to let me finish high school in Burbank.
I was happy to be doing the thing I loved most, acting. I landed a part in a movie with Peter Coyote entitled THE BASKET. It filmed in Spokane Washington. What a great experience that was. Hopefully it will be coming to the theaters soon. My most recent job was a pilot for Nickelodeon called NOAH KNOWS BEST, which filmed in Florida. Watch for it!
I also do print work for LA Models that is fun, the clothes are great.
I finished high school last spring, but before I go to college, I am going to devote a full year to my acting career. I live with my older brother, Kyle, in Burbank. In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach and of course, seeing all the latest movies.
Find your passion and follow it. I did!!
