Bridget Fonda

Bridget lived with the writer Lee Drysdale from 1986 to 1989 and with the actor Eric Stoltz from 1990 to 1998. She dated the actor and songwriter Dwight Yoakam for a while during 1999.

Bridget's first ever screen appearance was in her father's movie Easy Rider (1969). She was five and played a commune child (uncredited).

In 1995, Bridget was named by Empire magazine as one of the Hundred Sexiest Stars in film history.

She now has homes in New York City and Los Angeles.

Bridget's high school was the Westlake School for Girls, Los Angeles, where she began to act in school productions. After that, she went on to train for an acting career at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, New York.

On February 27 2003, Bridget skidded on a wet highway at Malibu and crashed her Jaguar sports car, suffering back injuries. She announced her engagement to Danny Elfman ten days later.

In 1997, Bridget was offered the role of Ally in Ally McBeal, but she turned it down.

In 2003, Bridget married the film composer Danny Elfman. They have one son, Oliver, born in January 2005.

Bridget is the daughter of Peter Fonda and Susan Brewer, the grand-daughter of Henry Fonda, the niece of Jane Fonda, the cousin of Troy Garity and Vanessa Vadim and the god-daughter of Larry Hagman. Her brother Justin Fonda is a cameraman.
