Kathryn Bridget Moynahan, although born in Binghamton, New York, on September 21, 1972, was raised primarily in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. She is a model-turned-actress known for her roles in the films, Coyote Ugly (2000), Serendipity (2001), Sum of All Fears, The Recruit (2003), I, Robot (2004), and Lord of War (2005). On television, she is famous for portraying Natasha, Carrie Bradshaw's rival for Mr.Big's love and affection in the popular HBO series, Sex and theMore City.

During her childhood, she saw herself as a tomboy who was passionate and skilled in sports. When she was in high school, she was the captain of her basketball team and also played soccer and lacrosse. Growing up, acting and modeling were far from her mind as she never even read fashion magazines. But as fate would have it, when Moynahan accompanied a friend to a modeling agency for an audition, her friend wasn't signed while she was. She then graced the covers and pages of various fashion magazines such as Glamour, New Woman, Shape, and Vogue.

In 1999 came her big acting break when Bridget was cast as Mr.Big's-wife-to-be on the HBO dramedy hit, a character which irked Carrie-Big fans that she would be glared at on the streets and would receive unfavorable comments. Her exposure on the show gave way to winning her more prominent roles on the big screen. Beginning in 2000, Moynahan was fortunate to have worked with Hollywood heavyweights such as John Cusack, Kate Beckinsale, Ben Affleck, Morgan Freeman, Will Smith, Al Pacino, and Nicolas Cage. In 2006, she went back to doing television as she became a series regular of the short-lived J.J. Abrams drama, Six Degrees.

I saw Bridget Moynahan first on "Lord of War" and thought that she was pretty and a very good actress. I was correct. I remembered I also watched her on "Gray Matters" and I was convinced that Bridget Moynahan is a really great actress. I like her style and her way of acting, and she is great acting.
