Trivia and Quotes

  • Quotes

    • Brie: (on the set of Sleepover) It was soooo crazy because we've got 20 15 year-olds and everybody was so nice. We were all just there to have a great time. And our director was young, too, so he wanted it to be as fun as possible and all get to know each other.

    • Brie: You know what? I know that I'm an actor and I guess I could kind of put on an act, but it takes so much more time to be someone you are not. I feel so much better just being comfortable with myself and hopefully girls will accept that.

    • Brie: I write the music so I kind of have a lot more control over it, which is nice. Image-wise – this is just who I am. I can't be anybody else.

    • Brie: (on her singing career) I'm actually incredibly lucky just to have a record deal just because the record industry is kind of dying down right now, because of CD burning and stuff like that. I think I've been really lucky to have this opportunity and I'm really taking control of it. I'm so lucky also to have a record label who is really letting me be creative with it. A lot of labels are more like, No, this is what you're doing. I'm just so lucky that I get along so well with them. We hang out all the time.

    • Brie Larson: I think it starts to feel really redundant when you start to do something the same way over and over again. I don't think it's good to become so dependent on a certain writing process.

    • Brie Larson: I'm learning with the older that I get that some feelings are just universal and that I'm not the only one who hates their hair or their life at times.

    • Brie Larson: I have a pretty good sense of humor and am able to laugh at myself. I think it's important to not put too much pressure on life and not make things that happen a huge deal, because I think in this industry especially, there is a lot of room to mess up.

    • Brie Larson: The album is really a big part of me and if I can give anything to those girls out there struggling to find themselves and their place, it's these songs. I'm always there to support girls through their insecurities and doubts because I think it's important.

    • Brie Larson: You always get the strangest comments like, my hair is too blonde or I'm too tall. And it makes you start to think, Man, I wish I was three inches shorter. The one that really bugs me is that I'm told I'm too smart to make it in this industry. It can be hard sometimes to hear stuff like that.

    • Brie Larson: (about music instruments) Well, here is my big secret... if you want to be good at anything you have to practice!

    • Brie Larson: For me, the dumbest rule is that you can't chew gum in school. For some reason, chewing gum for me gets my brain going.

Brie Larson is extremely talented. She is one of my favorite singers. Brie began acting at a young age on the show Raising Dad. I have never seen the show, but I'm sure she was great in it because after that she landed starring roles in several movies. She played one of the Six Chicks in 13 Going on 30 with Jennifer Garner. She also played the role of Courtney Enders in the Disney movie Righ On Track. Brie's next big role was as Liz in the teen comedy Sleepover. Shortly after Sleepover Brie recorded her first CD Finally Out Of P.E. Her song "She Said" appeared in the Disney movie Go Figure. I own Brie's CD and I love every song on it. Brie wrote 8 out of 13 songs on it. Brie later landed a starring role in the movie Hoot, playing Beatrice Leep. Brie recorded the song "Coming Around" for the movie's soundtrack. Brie has many devoted fans. Brie recently finished filming the movie Tanner Hall and several other movies. Brie is currently recording her second album. I can't wait for it to come out. I will always be a fan of Brie Larson. Brie is completely original and doesn't care what people think of her. She is an inspiration. Keep rocking, Brie!moreless

When I first saw her on Raising Dad I'm ashamed ot say that I wrote her off as another not gonna make it teeny bopper, but I was completely wrong. Not only has she starred in a hit movie, but she's also put out an amazing CD proving that there is such a thing as being versatile. She's not only beautiful, but talented as all get out. I mean how many starlets can play 4 instruments? I can't wait to see her star rise in the Hollywood sky. She deserves to make it and if fate shines on her lovingly she'll get it. Good luck Brie!moreless
