  • Strangely enouh, an excellent actor who didn't get a "serious" break

    "Great"
Obviously, everyone identifies Pinchot with Perfect Strangers. And that's all well and good, BUT a) it doesn't get you points on the "serious acting" resume and b) this was further accented by his role in "Second Sight", where he plaid a loony psychic.
But the thing is, the guy is GOOD. He was the only thing really really decent in Stephen King's otherwise disastrous Langoliers (1995). More recently, he has been a Broadway stage performer of fine caliber, getting rave (serious) reviews.
So what's wrong with this picture?
Well, I'm really not sure whether it's his choices, his agent or simply that no one has trusted the man enough to carry the ball, but he never made "that" move in becoming a recognised believable TV/movie actor (entries like "Kung Fu and Titties" (2012) don't help).
He is now immersed in his house restoration reality show "The Bronson Pinchot Project", the "Perfect Strangers" homage Flash video game is a hit and there are talks of wanting to do a PS reunion, so it's not all that bad for him... Still, one has to wonder (and regret) that his potential has never been used properly.
  • Underrated actor most notable for his portrayal as Balki on the ABC sitcom - Perfect Strangers.

I’m slightly embarrassed to declare it but Bronson Pinchot was one of my countless childhood crushes of the 90s. It was just something impressive about the cool and caring Balki that caught my eye.

Bronson Pinchot has revealed himself as a talented actor having appeared in several projects, but most notably as the infinitely optimistic Balki in the ABC sitcom Perfect Strangers and the chic Serge in the Beverly Hills Cop movies.

Oddly enough, after Perfect Strangers slipped away, so did Bronson Pinchot. News on this actor has been ho hum if any at all. It’s unfortunate that we don’t see more of this actor, I’m confident that anything Bronson touches is bound to be a success.

  • I loved this guy

I loved Bronson as Balki on Perfect Strangers. I thought he was so cute and sweet. If more people were like Balki, the world would be a better place. I've just began researching Bronson and never realized what an interesting and sadly, difficult life he's had. To overcome a harsh upbringing like he had and not let it leave him bitter is quite amazing to me. He knows how to live in the moment, which is something many people never achieve.

I hope he has a successful stage career as he seems to have taken a bent toward that recently. Good luck, Bronson!
  • Kudos for Bronson Pinchot

As I am writing this review I am counting the

days until the next episode of Surreal Life.I

mean day one already involved a "groping

incedent" which Janice just really overreacted

to.And you have to give kudos to Bronson Pinchot

for getting things of and running. If anybody was

going to start any kind of trouble I would have

had money down on Jose Conseco. And where was

Andy Dick during this whole crime,by the way?

Wasn't he security?I think Vh1 needs to give

    Bronson his own reality show.
