Bruce Edward Hall
On the TV screen, Bruce worked as a writer, puppeteer, and actor on the children's show Romper Room and Friends for 13 years. Some of his characters include the jack-in-the-box Up-Up and a furry mascot named Kimble. He also worked on various projects with Jim Henson and the Muppets in the 1980's, and a kid's show called Whirligig! in the early 1990's.

Bruce grew up in the Hudson area and graduated from University of Syracuse. As a fourth-generation Chinese-American, Bruce wrote many books and magazine articles about New York City's Chinatown. Some of his prominent

More works include Tea That Burns, and the children's book, Henry and the Mott Street Demons. In 1994, he wrote Diamond Street: The Story of the Little Town with the Big Red Light District, documenting some of the history of his hometown of Hudson.
