As the BAU investigates a killer who exposes the victim's vocal chords, Hannibal figures out the killer is simply trying to get his attention. As things progress, the killer makes an attempt to kill Hannibal. Will turns to Alana, in a romantic way, seeking peace from the noises in his head.

While Jack considers the possibility that the Chesapeake Ripper has resurfaced, Will concludes that the victim is part of an illegal organ harvesting operation. Will begins to have nightmares of himself where he is a killer. Hannibal goes to see therapist Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier even as he gradually works on his seduction of Alana.

When Jack's former colleague, Dr. Chilton, contacts him about the identity of The Chesapeake Ripper, matters get complicated when a copy cat murder is committed. When Jack's former protégé Miriam becomes the next victim, he's finds himself dealing with loss on two fronts and consults Hannibal with his grief.

While Hannibal tries to put a wedge between Jack and Will, the team tracks a serial killer with a bloody ritual that includes cutting the victims' back flesh to extend it to look like angel wings. Jack's wife Bella turns to Hannibal as her therapist in an effort to come to terms with the fact that she is dying. Beverly decides to put an effort into relating to Will on a personal level.

Jack suspects that Abigail helped her father in his serial killings. Even though Alana is against it, Hannibal escorts Abigail back to Minnesota. Things get worse when a copycat killer murders Abigail's friend. Hannibal suggests they hide a body but secrets carry a price.

Jack Crawford asks gifted criminal profiler Will Graham to consult on a case of missing college girls. Jack also seeks out brilliant psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal Lector. What Jack doesn't know is that Lector is a very successful serial killer and a cannibal. When a copycat decides to enter the picture, Hannibal joins with Will to track down the guilty party. The results will be profound for Will.

The Munsters are forced to move when their son Eddie transforms into a werewolf and attacks his fellow Wildlife Explorers. While Eddie tries to deal with his new feelings, the Munsters move into a new house and Grandpa tries to find a solution when Herman's heart gives out.
