Everyone needs to stop Danny Phantom from going out of production. Butch, if you're reading this there is a message I'd like you to please give to Nick.
You see Danny Phantom as a TV show, something that isn't meant to last for a long time. Us the DP fans, we see it as twenty-two minutes of happiness. A way to forget about all of the pressures of life and relax. We are trying to be nice, but our patience grows thin. We have been begging for over a year and it seems like you do not hear our voices. As one voice, we shout "Save Danny Phantom!" If you check out the DP forums you will see the growing number of concerned fans. For all of us teens and young adults, it is a cartoon that we love, that we look forward to seeing and will do almost anything to watch it. It has a great plot and the characters are very interesting and developed. A million voices scream out to you from around the world and at this moment, the voice screaming loudest is the one that is saying "Keep Danny going!" We aren't ready to let it go. It has so much potential to become a long running cartoon. I have a question for you. How many shows do you know that, when the announcement of production ending, caused an uproar and pleads to keep it going, petitions and rallies? If it didn't have much of a future and we were willing to let it go, would we have gone to such great lengths?
We plead to you Nick with our hearts, minds and souls. We plead to you Nick with all of the childhood we have left. We plead to you Nick with all that has been done to stop this, with all of our infinate emails, letters, and fan art. We plead to you Nick with every emotion we have. We plead to you Nick "Don't stop Danny Phantom!"
If this message gets to Nick, then maybe they will unblock their ears long enough to hear our cries, to see our attempts and actions, to feel the sadness and greif and anger we feel, to taste the dissapointment that we must taste every day of our lives since it was announced that Nick would stop DP's production. Lastly, we want them to realize that we won't give up and the fight will continue!
