    • Camille: Listen, I'm one of those actors who couldn't give a monkeys. If someone wants to get in shot more than I do, they're welcome to. I'll just mug away in the background. I wasn't worried about egos, because I love everybody. But it was quite tricky for Graeme Harper, who kept shouting every two minutes, 'be quiet please!' Because we couldn't stop bloody nattering. We were all so badly behaved - in a nice way. Happy times.
    • (On dealing with fans) Camille: A couple of guys even chased me in their cars, which is a bit worrying. But on the whole people have been lovely. I have been getting heaps of fan mail, mostly from men. But perhaps I am too old and too mumsy for them to be too saucy. It's far more on the respectful, romantic side than the drop-your-drawers side - and thank God for that!
    • (On returning to Doctor Who for the episode Journey's End) Camille: They didn't have to twist my arm. I was asked, would I consider it? Yes! Are you mad? Of course! Get on the bus! Let's get back in that TARDIS! Very little persuasion but I'm doing it for the fans too.
    • (on her character Peggy in Sinchronicity) Camille: Peggy struck me as a hard-nose businesswoman who is a bit of a bully towards her employees, particularly Nathan. She is also incredibly uninhibited about sex and the porn industry. Peggy seemed like a real challenge to play because she is the complete antithesis of me and so different from my other roles. It was quite invigorating to play her, I especially liked being able to get my own way all of the time as Peggy! Not much of Peggy's home life is given away in Sinchronicity, but I imagine that she is married to a bloke that she met on the game and now has a huge house in Cheshire. Throughout the series she is consistently hard, driven and unable to take no for an answer, but then I suppose you would have to be, working in such a male-dominated industry.
    • (On her character Jackie Tyler from Doctor Who) Camille: She was totally real. An ordinary Mum waiting for her daughter, not knowing where she'd been for a year.
    • (On the worst acting job she's ever had) Camille: That's a really naughty question, actually. I can't really single anything out because it might offend people but quite a lot of what I've done is rubbish. Some of it's been good but some of it's been total pants.
