Carey Lowell

Carey was nominated for four SAG Awards in 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000 for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for Law and Order.

Carey Lowell spent her childhood in Libya.

Carey Lowell has been married three times. Her first marriage was to John Stember and lasted from 1984-1988. Her second marriage was to Griffin Dunne and produced daughter Hannah. Ms. Lowell's second marriage lasted from 1989-1995. Her third marriage was to actor Richard Gere and produced son Homer James Jigme Gere in 2000. Lowell and Gere were married in a private ceremony in their home with only their children present in 2002. Their marriage continues on today.

Carey Lowell was a model. She was signed by the Ford Agency straight out of high school and appeared in print ads for Johnny Walker Scotch and Calvin Klein.

She is married to actor Richard Gere.
