WTH? You think gruff voices fit crocodiles like Vector...

4Kids must learn to LISTEN to the Sonic Heroes voice, which I would prefer in REAL Sega Sonic product. Carter's Vector voice would only fit in a spoof.

Come and see "The Vector Show" on YouTube. Still, Carter is hilarious as VEctor's voice, but not in a REAL Sega Sonic. Hoo Hoo! Anyway, he should've been Vector's original actor to be liked, with a gruff voice.
  • I thought it was supposed to be the cool detective Vector the Crocodile, not Barney from the Simpsons.

Carter Cathcart did the voice of Vector in the 4kids Sonic X and current SEGA games, and I'm sorry to say it, but it really sucks! It sounds like some science geek or like there's something up Vector's nose. It's also joint top with Cream's 4kids VA at being the worst because of the way they sounded. Look, I don't care what people think of Sonic Heroes. That game gave Vector a brilliant voice which you can't fault. It was gruff and awesome like it was supposed to. In Sonic X and the newer games however, his personality felt a bit different. He isn't as tough as he used to be, and now loads of people hate him because of this. It proved that voices CAN change the characters' personality! It's sad to see such a great character being bashed because of the rubbishy voice.

PLEASE get a newer voice or bring back the Sonic Heroes one. Hardly anyone likes the 4kids voice anyway!
  • Think Vector was cool in "Sonic Heroes"? Meet the voice that ruined him in "Shadow the Hedgehog" and Series 2 of the "Sonic X" Anime.

I loved Vector's voice in "Sonic Heroes" he sounded tough and cool. But now thanks to the worst dubbing company ever, he now sounds like Pee-Wee Herman, This was the BIGGEST change from cool to uncool of ALL the Sonic characters probably. This voice was the biggest thing that ruined the game "Shadow the Hedgehog" for me, What Was Sega THINKING? This is one of the most noticeable changes of them all and definatly one of the most annoying of them all as well, it's obvious Sega is tone deaf as well and anyone who probably like this voice better (I'm sorry but this one is SO noticable and dorky that that's how I feel). Well if I and the fans have anything to say about it, Bill Corkery will return and voice Vector once again.

I would have given him a 1.0 but I gave him one extra .1 because at least his voice doesn't make my ears bleed like Rebecca Honig's Cream voice does, and I am going to get Sarah Wulfeck back for her as well.
