Catherine Dent: (about Vic Mackey on The Shield) The reason why his character is so successful is because he's morally ambiguous, which we have in life. We're flawed and we suffer quite a bit. He's a sympathetic bad dude.
Catherine Dent: (on becoming interested in theatre) It was an escape for me while my parents were going through a very messy divorce. The theatre became a place where I could paint sets and hang out with people until two o'clock in the morning, and my mother knew where I was. When you're fourteen it's cool to be out anywhere at two o'clock in the morning. It was a refuge for me and an escape. I really dug it.
Catherine Dent: (about her time on The Shield) This was a great experience in my life. I really do feel like these guys were like my big brothers and a couple of them were younger than me. it was the greatest experience and the greatest ride of my life
Catherine Dent: Coco Chanel said once, and I'm paraphrasing, that there is nothing more tiresome than a woman trying to hold on to her youth. Mystery is a lot more interesting, but my husband would laugh hearing me say this because he's always hearing me complain about my weight.
