I loved Catherine on Power Rangers, and to this day I think she was the best (and most beautiful) Ranger ever.  But whatever happened to her.  It seems the only thing she's done since then is play the dead girl in The Cell, and has since completely disappeared.  There's so little information outMore there about her, at least that I could find, and any of her websites don't seem to have been updated in years, so I was just curious as to whether or not anyone knew what she was up to these days.

    Where'd she go? hide show

I truly can't believe that Catherine Sutherland has simply disappeared like she has. I absolutely loved her on Power Rangers, and to this day I think she was the best Ranger ever. She's an excellent actress, and one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen as well, and it boggles my mind that her career appears to be completely over. I remember watching The Cell, an awful movie, and seeing her name in the credits as the dead girl and I figured that it couldn't possibly be THIS Catherine Sutherland. But alas, it was. And that really threw me, because she should have been the star, not just have a bit part, most of which wound up on the cutting room floor.

I simply can't understand it when I see what is passing for A-list talent these days, and then I see someone like Catherine Sutherland who I'd swear should be an in-demand actress, yet she's gone. I remember reading that her getting let go from Power Rangers came as an absolute shock, and she had to get a job as a waitress to pay the bills. That really threw me, and really just seems so unjust.

You better believe that if I ever made a movie I'd cast her in a heartbeat.

Catherine Sutherland is a great role model. hide show

I was a fan of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers ever since the first episode premeired in 1993, but never was a huge fan of the Pink Ranger, whom I always found to be weak (no fault of the original actress, Amy Jo Johnson, she was just doing what they wrote for her.)
But when the role of Katherine "Kat" Hillard appeared that's when things became good. We had an exotic, blond beauty with an echanting accentic. I loved the scene when she was sitting in a tree, ripped the picture of Tommy and Kimberly and crumbled up the Kim half saying "He won't be yours for long, Kimberly".
Of all the characters besides of Tommy Oliver, her character progressed the most, from a freighten girl under a spell from a witch, to a novice ranger with a crush, to an excellent ranger with a crush, to a perfectly tough Pink Ranger with a boyfriend, to a former ranger married to her original crush/boyfriend.
The only thing I regret is that I've heard she was offered to return to Power Rangers Dinothunder with Jason David Frank to reprise her role, but as Tommy's wife, Kat Oliver but she declined!!!! :(
But who knows maybe she'll make a return again to the show as JDF did, I would prefer they comeback together with their charaters together they looked so good together.
