    • Cesar Romero: I had enormous fun playing the Joker on Batman. I ended up doing something like 20 episodes of Batman, as well as the full-length feature film version. There was certainly nothing hard about that assignment! Even the make-up sessions weren't too bad. It took about an hour-and-a-half to put the full make-up on, including the green wig. I didn't mind it at all.

    • Cesar Romero: I was never stereotyped as just a Latin lover in any case because I played so many parts in so many pictures. I was more of a character actor than a straight leading man. I did many kinds of characters -- Hindus, Indians, Italians. There were very few pictures where I ended up with the girl.

Cesar Romero is one of my favorite

and classical actors ever!! I am glad he enjoyed playing in 1966's Batman.

He made a perfect Joker! He won a Golden

Globe award and 3 wins! He sure is a

talented actor! He was even a Nightclub performer. But Romero is best often remembered in his role as the Joker! He was a realistic Joker just like the old Joker from the Comix! It was a colorful role for Romero. He started acting from the 1920's to the 1990's. The sad thing about him is he died in January 1994 but will always be remembered

    as the Joker forevermoreless
