Chandra Wilson

For a long time I've been yearning to see someone who puts passion in a role and that did not present itself to me until Chandra Wilson played Miranda Bailey. She does so effortlessly with such skill one may think they're on and the same person. This coming from a dude who's miles away in Africa... Imagine the excitement it feels to have someone play a role just as you had envisioned it in your mind. I've got nothing but mad respect and lots of love for Chandra Wilson. To me you're the last of a dying breed of actresses and for that, hats off!

she really caught my attention by portraying her role as the Nazi - Dr. Miranda Bailey in Grey's Anatomy. she is the perfect choice for that. i can't think of any other actress who can portray her role better than she does it. chandra wilson truly deserves that award! she should be given an emmy. every performance from her is just superb! who will ever forget that scene where she was giving birth and she tells george to "stop lookin' at her va-jay-jay!" man! that's an absolute classic! i hope she stays with Grey's Anatomy for a long time! she's one of the best actress there is!

I really think Chandra Wilson was sitting next to me during the orientation for our resort. I wanted so much to find out for sure, but I was hoping I could have heard her voice, then I would have known without a doubt. Anyone know if she was in Aruba?

Chandra Wilson should have also won an award for her performance in Grey's Anatomy in addition to Sandra Oh. Both women play characters very diferent from their real personalities and do so believably. Wilson is not afraid to play a role where she breaks the conventional stereotype of women being sweet and vulnerable even in positions of power. However, she also takes care not to make her character a charicature and adds multiple dimensions this very strong chief resident in charge of equally strong interns/residents.



I hope to see Wilson eventually get her own show playing someone completely different from Dr. Miranda Baily. I look forward to seeing Wilson show the world how versitile her acting abilities are in the future.

The great thing about Chandra Wilson, especially as the role of Dr. Bailey that she plays in Grey's Anatomy, is that she's an extremely convincing and engaging actress. I love her character because she is the Nazi. She is classified as a ruthless, driven, empowered female. But Wilson plays perfectly to the other side of Dr. Bailey. Dr. Bailey the mother. Dr. Bailey who does have flaws, and whose facade can be broken when she finds that her husbands life is in danger. Dr. Bailey that cares about her interns, whether she admits it or not. She's funny and witty; not just in this character but in interviews and behind the scenes clips. She is not your run of the mill tv actress, and that's why I love her. I think she's a true individual in this crazy Hollywood world and I respect that above all.

I did not know that Chandra Wilson was from Houston. She is, by far, my favorite in G.A.! Every time she comes on the screen, I know it's going to be good, and she just makes the show! She makes me proud to be a Houstonian!!! I can't wait to see her in a movie!

Chandra Wilson has been around for awhile, but in her role as the bitchy but wise Miranda "the Nazi" Baily on the hip new medical drama, Grey's Anatomy, she is finally getting her due as a respected actress.



A great show in general, Wilson is definitely the scene stealer of the show. Her version of Baily is delicious and real and despite the character's rough exterior, you can tell Miranda really cares that her interns are succesful.



Miranda Baily might seem like she wants to ring her interns necks at everytime, but in reality, she is the mother hen that would probably kill for them if any of them were threatned.



Hope to see Chandra in this role for a longtime and hopefully she will reap the award of her exquiste turn as Miranda when the Emmy's and Golden Globes return.
