Charles planned to be a hospital administrator until a modelling agent approached his and he thought he's have nothing to lose by trying modelling, so he went for it. He modelled and went to college until some of his assignments required travel so he put school on hold and began modelling full-time. He modeled for Tommy Hilfiger for magazines such as GQ and Cosmopolitan. After a while of modelling, Charles moved to New York where he decided to pursue acting.
He appears in Kimberley Locke's video for '8th World Wonder'.
