Charles Rocket

He is the seventh Saturday Night Live cast member to die.

One of his recurring characters on SNL was Phil Lively.

A more extensive tribute to Rocket came from radio personality and friend Brandon Vogt on WXCM-FM 97X. Vogt said, "Charles Rocket was a man who will be remembered for his great sense of humor and always someone of style and personality. He will be missed."

SNL made a tribute to Charles on the October 22nd, 2005 episode.

He has a grandson named Ruben.

He has a son named Zane.

He was the anchor of Weekend Update during his season on SNL.

Rocket was promoted as "kind of a cross between Bill Murray and Chevy Chase."

He made his network debut on the popular program Saturday Night Live.

He anchored the local news at Channel 12 WPRI.

Rocket attended the Rhode Island School of Design in the late 1960s.

Rocket committed suicide on October, 17, 2005.

Rocket appeared on the 3/7/81 telecast of SNL despite his cursing incident on 2/21/81. He was fired shortly thereafter.
