Chas Lawther

He entered UBC (the University of British Columbia) to study oceanography but after seeing friends perform in a school production of Marat Sade, he decided to switch majors.

Since 1995 he has been the host of The Showcase Revue, Showcase Television's evening movie, with Linda Griffiths.

Chas lawther played HIS OWN charicter of Chuck the Security Guard on Toronto's channel47 (CFMT) "The All Night Show) that ran during the 1980/81 season from midnight to 6am 5 nights aweek from tuesdays to sundays (additional info can be found out from imdb.com).unfortunatly i think i have the only remaining video copys of the original Air-Check tapes as i worked for the show as a unit assistant/video editor.
