- Chaz says he used to act like his 7th Heaven character, John Hamilton, who was blunt, tactless and insensitive. Now, he says that God has changed him for the better.

- When Chaz was handed a script during an audition for Set It Off, he noticed that it included profanity. He asked that some less offensive words replace the profanity, even though he knew it may turn off the producers, but instead, they admired it and gave him a role.
