Chloe: (on her first time job as a pop star in China) That was like my high school job. Some people work at Subway. I happened to do something more dramatic.
Chloe: (on her growing up with 6 brothers) We would wrestle almost every night after dinner. My tactic was to call for my mom, they'd stop, and then I'd punch them. I throw a mean right hook.
Chloe: (on her recognition for her work in the TV series Marvel's Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.) When we do go out, and we run into fans, it's really great. I'm just as excited to see them and it's really been a pretty incredible, fantastic ride into this Marvel universe.
Chloe: (on learning Mandarin) I studied Mandarin everyday. I really never spoke it before I went over there and I kind of became relatively fluent and I've actually lost pretty much all of it since then, But it was an incredible experience.
Chloe: (on changing her last name to pursue her career) I was having trouble booking things with my last name. I think it was hard for people to cast me as an ethnic, as an Asian American woman. But I still wanted to keep my dad's name, and I wanted to respect him, so I used his first name.
Chloe: I'd love to do a film where I get to sing or do something like that, because I love music, but I'm very happy acting.
Chloe: (on living in China) It's an experience living over there, you know? I'm pretty happy living here. I love to visit, but it's definitely not a place I want to live in again. I love China and I love Chinese culture, also the food is really great, but I'm definitely happy here. I miss the food and getting to travel China, because it's so beautiful.
Chloe: (on the busy schedule shooting at MARVEL's Agents of SHIELD) It is insane! It's good fun though, because it's Marvel stuff so I get to do bad ass things all day, so not much to complain about. It's a good busy!
Chloe: (on what she missing from Chicago that she can't get in LA) Normal people who aren't fame-whore-y....and the pizza.
Chloe: To be honest I mostly got into acting because I am horrible at all things athletic.
Chloe: (on her her down-to-earth personality) The second I ever think I'm cool, I trip on something or get gum stuck in my hair. That's the Chicago in me.
Chloe: (on going to China and learning Mandarin) I went to my dad, who is very business-minded, and said I would (learn to) speak Mandarin and that could help me.
