Chris Bruno

Chris attended Johnson State College in VT, while there he studied Psychology. After his sophomore year he transferred to State University of New York at Stonybrook, where he played on the baseball team and had a fastball that was clocked at 90mph.

Chris tries to spend at least a month in his hometown of Milford, Connecticut each year. He would like to raise a family there someday.

Chris is in the Men's Senior Baseball League, which is a league of players over 30 years old.

Chris has blown out his knee multiple times while skiing, he has have surgery on it 3 times to repair the damage, as a result he has given up skiing.

Chris designed the leather motorcycle jacket he wears in The Dead Zone himself.

"No Questions Asked" is Chris's favorite episode of The Dead Zone.

Making the movie "Last of the Romantics" was a family affair for Chris, he appeared in the movie with his father and brother; actors Scott and Dylan Bruno.

Chris's favorite movie is "The Godfather", his favorite TV series is "The Sopranos".

Chris's role in The Watcher episode "The Human Condition" was uncredited.

Chris was in the short film "Spoonfed".

Chris did the voice of Jack Slate in the video game "Dead to Rights".

Chris has done TV commercials for Budweiser and Advil.

In 1993 Chris was nominated for a Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Male Newcomer for his work on Another World.

Chris is 6' (1.83 m) tall.

Chris is the godfather of Michael Joseph Consuelo the first child of actors Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos.

Chris has done several plays with the Musical Theater Works in New York City including "Travel Dance", "Julius Caesar" and "The Cherry Orchard".

While trying to get into acting Chris was a waiter and a bartender.

His favorite book is John Steinbeck's East of Eden.

He is the brother of actor Dylan Bruno. Chris's father is an actor and his mother was a school teacher and nurse.

He performed stand-up comedy at The Improv in Los Angeles.

During his sophomore year in college, he was a member of the ski team. While sidelined with an injury, he auditioned for his first play, Machiavelli's The Mandrake, and was cast as the lead.

Chris once dated pop singer Deborah Gibson.

He owns a martini bar in Manhattan called Vermouth.

Chris Bruno made his directorial debut with The Dead Zone episode titled "Independence Day." He dedicated the episode to his mother, who had recently died of cancer.
