Chris Carmack

Outside of having an Ambercombie model like body with a pretty face, Chris Carmack doesn't really have much going for him in terms of acting. He plays the water polo jock pretty decently as Luke Ward in The O.C., but overall his acting wasn't just that convincing enough. Well he wasn't that bad, there are times where he does catch your attention, and there were a couple of scenes in The O.C. that was pretty good. His trademark quote "Welcome to the O.C. b1tch" is one that will always stick with him and was a perfect way to kick off a show like The O.C.

Not really convincing on the O.C. (his part is kind of creepy)but he's not as bad actor as Mackenzie.On the O.C. he is the living cliché of the "quaterback" of series(even if he is the waterpolo team captain),which is too bad because the part really restrains his potential. Even if at the end of season one he gots more liberty to play and a character a little bit more complex, just before the character totally disappears from the show

I really hope that some producer/director will give him a chance someday because he gots potential, not exploited for now, but he may become a huge star in the futur.

Chris Carmack was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in a family of five with a younger sister and older brother in suburban Rockville, Maryland, where he loved playing all types of sports: baseball, basketball, football and wrestling. At Magruder high school, however, his attentions turned to theatre and he began working passionately on three productions a year, on-stage and off, in addition to competing in numerous drama festivals. After high school, Chris went to New York University to pursue a degree in Arts in the Tisch School. While Chris was being located in New York for school, he was discovered by a modeling scout. For a struggling college student at the time, Chris gave modeling a try. His drop-dead gorgeous looks are exactly what Bruce Weber was looking for at Abercrombie & Fitch. In the following year, Chris scored big again by appearing on the Spring 2000 Guess campaign. The other catalogues and editorials that Chris has appeared in include Lord and Taylor, Macy's, Target, Who A U, ELLE France and Cosmo Girl. After two years in New York Chris decided to move to Los Angelos and try some acting.

I saw Chris on Beach Girls on Lifetime. When he was on The O.C. he was hot. I like him on The O.C. However, on Beach Girls he was not doing it for me. He had long hair. He look very slimy. However, that might be what the show was looking for since he plays a bad guy on the show. He is trying to a get a virgin to sleep with him. Nevertheless, Luke was like that in the beginning of The O.C. I think the hair just changes everything. Also, I think Chris slimed down some.



Don't get me wrong, Chris is a great actor. He is probably having trouble to getting work. However, he new style change sucks.

I've read so many interviews about him, trying to see what kind of person he is. Not yet have I been disappointed. His natural good looks and ability to charm me through the television made me want to know more about him. In the first season of the O.C., he brought life to the show, and like most people, I anticipated to see where this fellow would go. Unfortunately, he was written off, which sort of damaged my own personal relationship with the show. I knew in time he would find something else, just as good as where he came from, but rather, I found myself searching anywhere just to find this guy. Articles and websites are very sketchy for whatever reason, but I have no doubt in my mind that this young man will prevail. In the near future, Chris Carmack will be a force to be reckoned with.

i have only seen him in the o.c and he was cool he played his role good and i wished he stayed on the o.c cause he was good what else can i say about him and he looks geat good haircut waers the right stuff hope to see him in good movies and tv shows.
