Chris was born in Texas. Whilst attending college, he became involved in Memphis community theatre. Following graduation from college, Chris moved to New York and appeared in some local productions. He took a break from acting in 1987 after several television appearances and movie roles. Chris came back onto the acting scene in 1990 in Days of Thunder. He has since worked steadily on TV with guest roles in many shows including JAG, CSI:NY and Ghost Whisperer.
