Chris Farley wasn't just that big, fat guy, but he was a comedian and he knew how to do that properly. He strided from being a Second City cast member to a Saturday Night Live cast member. There, he did his characters, such as the motivational speaker Matt Foley, my favorite, and Bennett Brauer. He spent five years on Saturday Night Live to make people laugh at his character and impressions and he made friends with fellow cast members, Sandler, Spade, Rock, Schneider, and so on. After he left in 1995 he went to pursue a movie career, where he did Tommy Boy and Black Sheep (with Spade, along with Beverly Hills Ninja and Almost Heroes, which were all funny to me. Chris died 8 days before Christmas in 1997, which was all shocking when I saw his biography. We miss you, Chris. We wish you were still here.
he was on SNL (saturday night live) he was a motiveation speaker "living in a van down by the river" he was a dancer A funny one was him being the New York City mayor's son that was funny and the Chris farly show the slightly overwieght dancer lol GOOD he was in other movies like tommy boy he was funny and after his death funny to this day
Just seeing his page makes me want to cry. It makes me think why would someone do such a thing. Chris Farley was real big (fame-wise) when it happened. He is missed dearly, and he was one of my comedy idols. Words cannot express how I felt about Chris and his funny self.
he died a man he was a main SNL actor leading him to bigger and better things he was in lots of films like tommy boy, blacksheep, and beverly hills ninja he died of weed and wiskey bottles before he died he wanted to make a movie called fatty arbuckle a dramatic role about an overweight man who was teased at childhood so he went to drugs and alchohol which was chris\'s life he was my hero and my favoraite comedian i even usually check out a biography of him called he died to young- chris farley i wish he was alive right now only chris can tell about his life hes my hero, thank you
I've always loved comedy and frequently watched SNL, and there was one character who always stood out: Chris Farley. He was an amazing guy who had so much potential and always made me laugh. I'll never forget him and the impact he had on my life. We love
Where do I even begin about Chris Farley? I didn't know him personally, so it's hard for me to describe him to his full potential, but I'll do my best. He had that natural silly humor that could make anyone laugh, and the fact that he was a physical comedian made him that much easier to like. "Tommy Boy" was easily his best movie and I love how they portrayed him and David Spade. He was extremely talented and I still miss him to this day, wishing I could have gotten to know him before he passed away. We will forever miss you, Chris. I know you're still making people laugh.
Chris Farley is one of the most remembered veterans of Saturday Night Live. Known for being extremely physical and active despite his 290-pound frame, Farley wowed audiences across the country with routines such as "Chippendales" and "Matt Foley, Motivational Speaker."
Though Farley never was a favorite of critics, his movies- "Tommy Boy," "Black Sheep" and "Beverly Hills Ninja" remain cult favorites among several loyal fans, as sources of cheap laughs and genuinely funny entertainment.
Off-screen, Chris Farley was not a happy man. He suffered from extreme levels of nervousness (one of the sources of his "profuse sweating" while doing live interviews and other sketches) and used heroin and cocaine to alleviate his demons.
It was often said that Farley admired fellow "SNL" cast member John Belushi. And, in a terrible bit of irony, Farley passed away at the same age as Belushi- of the same cause.
Chris Farley was an amazingly funny man whose life was cut short far too soon.
