  • Quotes

    • Christian: (on his role as John Wilkes Booth in National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets) I think Jon Turteltaub found a similarity between me and the infamous killer which is ironic because I just finished playing a killer on Dexter.

    • Christian: (about his grandfather) He was like my dad. My parents had a difficult divorce. My dad had to take a backseat for a few years, and my grandfather came in. He was also my inspiration for becoming an actor. I really respected him...I really wanted to bring back my grandfather's name. I feel like that's my true family because it's so connected to what I do for a living. There's something about my Mexican-American heritage...I'm proud of it.

    • Christian: (about his role in National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets and his grandfather) My grandfather was a member of the Players Club in New York, which was in the home of [Booth's] elder brother Edwin and is now an actors' club. So I had already been there and lived around the history of the incident from the periphery.
