Christy Carlson Romano

Christy: If you find someone who really completes you as a person, that's great, but, you don't need someone to add stress to your life.

Christy: I try not to live in the past, I try to remember all that I need is within me.

Christy: As a performer, much of my life has been spent in the spotlight. I know how important appearance can be to teens, especially the impact it can have on the way you feel about yourself.

Christy: See, food I can talk about. I'm Italian, I know the food."

Christy: When I got my braces removed, I felt more like a real woman, any traces of my childhood were stripped, just like the cold metal that inhabited my mouth for 2 years.

Christy: I am actively involved with many charities, it's one of the things I do that makes me happy.

Christy: I want to be a positive influence in little girls' eyes. Little girls need to be confident and grow up with a healthy state of mind. It's a tough, tough world out there.

Christy: I'm recording an album. It's sort of techno mixed with garbage-- you, know, intense in-your-face music.

Christy: I'm pretty conservative, but I also have a funky side to me. I usually shop at Charlotte Ruth and Bebe. You don't need really expensive clothes to look cute.

Christy: During the day I usually like to have a light powder. I like M.A.C. Pressed Powder. It's a duo-finish compact. I use some concealer. I put eye shadow on in the morning, usually M.A.C. Most of my stuff is M.A.C. I like M.A.C. lipglass, M.A.C. Twig Lipstick and Spice Lip Pencil.

Christy: I have good eyes, so I usually play them up so they stand out. I do a liner around the top of my eye and half way into the bottom. I use powder and lipstick for touch-ups during the day.

Christy: I just got a body wave because I wanted it to look good when it was down. I don't like to style my hair. When I go on a date, I keep it simple. I'll go half-up. I don't go crazy becuase then the guy will think I'm trying too hard to impress him.
