The only thing I have seen him in so far is The Rifleman, so I have to say that.
Welcome to the TV.com Forums for Chuck Connors. Here is your area to discuss, dissect and debate all things about this person.
He played many roles but the two I remember him in where 'Branded and the Rifleman'. In Branded he played an army man who was wrongfully accused of being a traitor. He was the only man that survived out of his unit. The show was very good. But the one I liked him best in was the Rifleman. He played the part of Lucas McCain. He was a farmer who was a great shot with his rifle. He lived in a town called North Fork. He would every week help out the local Marshall Micah Torrence. He would also farm with his son Mark. This was a very good show. He was a talented actor who could play most any part
regardless of what people thought of Chuck Conners and his personal life, He was a classy man and one hell of a great actor. I had the pleasure of working with Chuck Conners on another series and he was great man who loved his work and took his acting carrer seriously. From Lucas McCain in 'The Rifleman ' to his short lived role as Janos Skorzeny in ' Werewolf ', he could play it all and make you believe that his character was real and you were not watching TV but instead he was in you very own living room and you were a part of that show.
