- Her name is pronounced Ky-ler, but when she landed a starring role in Grey's Anatomy in 2007, co-star Katherine Heigl joked that instead of hazing her, she would just walk around and call her Chy-ler all day. Fortunately, Chyler says that everyone on set was very nice to her when she arrived.

- Announced in December 2008, that her and her Husband, are expecting their third child together. There are no plans to write the pregnancy into her TV show, Grey's Anatomy.

- As preparation for her Not Another Teen Movie character which was a spoof of Rachael Leigh Cook's character in She's All That, Chyler watched Cook's movie 15 times to capture all her mannerisms and expressions.
