    • She contributed vocals to the song Night Falls Like a Grand Piano on the album Hyacinths and Thistles (2000) by Magnetic Fields.

    • After Altered Images broke up in 1984, Clare tried for a solo career, signing with London Records. This led to one single and an album in 1987 which was unreleased.

    • Clare appears on the cover sleeve of the album Bite (1983) wearing a glamorous dress and looking like a movie star - far removed from her former dream punk image.

    • Her first single as the lead singer of Altered Images was controversial. Between the song Dead Pop Stars being recorded and released, John Lennon was shot and killed.

    • Clare rejoined Altered Images when the band reformed in 2002 for a UK tour called Here and Now, and then again for a few more gigs in 2004.
