Birth Name:
Clea Helen D'etienne DuVall
Clea DuVall was born on September 25, 1977 in Los Angeles, California. As a teenager, Clea dropped out of high school and got her own apartment and a job, because her parents were in the middle of a nasty divorce and she couldn't handle the pressure. When Clea decided that she wanted to be an actress, she returned to high school. She applied to the Los Angeles School of Arts, but did horribly when it came to schoolwork because she had to work to support herself. She eventually got her first major role in 1998's teen science fiction flick "The Faculty". Prior to this, she starred in an episodeMore of the acclaimed series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" in the episode "Out of Mind, Out of Sight" (1.11) as Marcie Ross. More roles came, as she starred in 1999's comedy "But I'm A Cheerleader" as outcast lesbian Graham and in "Girl Interrupted" as a mental patient, released the same year. She also got roles in 2003's "Identity", "Carnivale", and "21 Grams" opposite Orlando Bloom and Naomi Watts. Most recent roles are in "Helter Skelter" (2004) and "The Grudge" (2004). She is also working on two films- "Fathers and Sons" and "Two Weeks", both to be released in 2005.

She is absolutely amazing!! hide show

Clea is an amazing actress. She has done a fantastic job in everything she's been in so far. Even if it's only a small role, she pulls it off perfectly. I have seen pretty much everything she's been in and i've loved it all. Carnivale was an amazing show and i'm still really upset it got cancelled. It's sad they do that to the great ones, then we have to be stuck with all this reality junk. Well I hope it'll come back one day.

I'm really looking forward to all her new movies. I'm sure she'll do an excellent job in those as well.

She's great and needs to be in more shows, and movies. hide show

Clea DuVall is just great at everything she's done, from the movies to T.V. shows. The first time I saw her was in an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and she did great, and it's one of my favortie episodes. She's doing great on one of my new favortie shows Heroes, I hope she stays in it for awhile, I know she won't became a full main character, but I hope she becomes a rucurring star. I hope she keeps having a great acting life, and keeps it for awhile. So, congrats on the great job, and good luck. She's great.

She is one of the most talented actresses around. hide show

She is one of the most talented actresses around. I first saw her in Girl, Interrupted, which I saw quite some time ago and which is still one of my favourite movies. I remember thinking what a great actress she was. Since then I’ve seen some other stuff she’s done, including Identity, and I’m waiting to get my visa so I can get But I’m A Cheerleader off the internet, since I can’t find it in any of the shops here. I was very happy to find out she’s in an episode of CSI, which is my favourite TV show. I haven’t seen the episode yet, since it hasn’t been aired where I live, but knowing her other work, she probably did a great job.
