Clint Howard

Clint is married to Melanie Howard.

Clint's favorite music is by: The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The Beatles, and Aerosmith.

Clint provided the voice of Junior in the Disney classic Jungle Book, in 1967. He also voiced the characted for Roo, the baby kangaroo in Disney's Winnie The Pooh and the Blustery Day, in 1968.

Clint's favorite activity to do in his off-time is to play golf.

Clint's appearances in his brother's films was spoofed in Mad magazine, with the article titled 'The Clint Howard Collection'.

Clint was named #22 in The Phoenix newspapers's list of '100 Unsexiest Men in the World', one spot behind his brother Ron.

Clint was awarded the 1999 'MTV Lifetime Achievement Award', which originated as a joke, but MTV legitimized the award after seeing how much it meant to Clint. As a result, they removed the category the following year. Past recipients included 'Jason Vorhees' from the Friday The 13th slasher films, and Chewbacca, the furry wookie from Star Wars fame.

Clint co-starred in Far and Away, with Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise in 1992. The story is based on the Howard family's ancestral story.

Clint plays a rare leading role in The Ice Cream Man, 1995.

Clint played in many of the films that Ron directed, including: a wedding guest in Splash with Darryl Hannah and Tom Hanks in 1984, a nursing home attendant in the fantasy Cocoon, in 1985, and a NASA space employee in the true story, Apollo 13 with Tom Hanks, and Gary Sinise in 1995.

Clint not only appeared in the movies that his brother Ron directed, but he started to help in other ways, as well. They co-wrote the NBC made-for-TV-movie, Cotton Candy in 1978.

Clint had a small role in the first movie that his brother, Ron directed, Grand Theft Auto in 1977. The brothers went on to make this a habit, working together on numerous projects.

Clint won the role of young orphan Mark Wedloe in 1967. The film was Gentle Giant, and was about Mark adopting a bear as a pet, the film led to a television spin-off titledGentle Ben. He also starred in this CBS version from 1967-1969.

Clint, Joseph Ruskin, and Jack Donner are the only actors to appear in both the original Star Trek series in 1966, and Enterprise in 2001.

Clint dabbled in film appearances, giving him practice being on sets until he found regular work at age five, in a family series called The Baileys of Balboa, a short-lived television series.

Clint started his acting career at the age of three, with big brother Ron who held the lead role in The Andy Griffith Show. Clint played Leon, a toddler that roamed through Mayberry offering people a bite of his peanut butter sandwiches.

Award-winning director Ron Howard is his older brother.

He is the son of actor Rance Howard.

Clint did the voice of Roo in the Disney film "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh".
