    • Clint was originally slated to play Joshua in The Ten Commandments, but Debra Paget was needed to play Lilia, and an equally well-known star was needed to play alongside her, so John Derek got the part. It was also feared he was too tall and would overshadow other cast members who were at that time more famous. Still, Director Cecil B. DeMille was impressed with Clint and felt he had a promising future, so he used him in a bit part as the Captain of the Sardinian Guard. It was from there that he went on to star in Cheyenne.
    • In 2004 Walker was inducted into the Hall of Great Western Performers.
    • Walker enlisted in the United States Merchant Marines during WWII.
